Our agency received our dossier from the Vietnam Consulate (in SF) on Monday and they are sending it to Vietnam tomorrow (Friday)! We are now “officially” on the waiting list in spot NUMBER 12. It feels good to be official. The agency still says 1-3 months (maybe 4) for a referral. Why would they even bother throwing the 1, or even 2 month number in there? Anyone with even a pea-sized brain knows they aren’t getting 12 referrals in a month or two. They opened with 22 referrals so, who knows? I hope I am proved wrong!
I am going to try and start adding a photograph with every post. It may or may not have anything to do with the post but I think it jazzes up the place. Seeing this is an adoption blog (at least in some respects) today’s post is of a cute little baby.
WOO FREAKIN’HOO! you are on your way now! We are offically #1 today. Laura said hopefully next week they will have our referral. I hope you dont have to wait 4 months, but really thats not to bad….no thats not true, even waiting a week is hard, but still….oh I will be there to send you encouraging messages just as you have done for me! YAY!!! You’re official! That’s great news. And I love the picture you posted…you’ve inspired me to “jazz up” my place too. I’ll be taking the camera out this weekend to the Austin Wine Festival, so hopefully I’ll have something decent to post. Have a great weekend!
Congratulations! Hopefully that referral will come sooner rather than later. You’ll have to forgive me if you get yours before we get ours and I temporarily hate you (we were DTV in Sept.). LOL! Just kidding.
